Hidayara Certified Tutor Badge Program
All educators on Hidayara are background-verified and evaluated prior to student matching. Compliance with these terms is required for active badge maintenance.
1. ₹10 Registration & Application Processing Fee
During Step 6 of registration, tutor applicants pay a nominal ₹10 Registration/Service Fee.
What the ₹10 fee covers:
- Infrastructure costs for storing and streaming your 5-10 minute demo lecture video.
- Administrative background evaluation of your educational credentials.
- Entry into Hidayara’s priority tutor matching queue.
Note: The ₹10 registration fee is non-refundable as it covers immediate administrative and screening expenses upon submission.
2. Demo Lecture Video Submission & Evaluation
Tutors must record and upload a 5 to 10 minute teaching video demonstration on a subject topic of their choice.
- Evaluation Criteria: Videos are evaluated on subject clarity, communication rapport, board presentation, and teaching methodology.
- Privacy Assurance: Demo videos are evaluated exclusively by Hidayara’s internal academic quality managers and are not made public without your explicit consent.
3. KYC & Document Verification
After initial shortlisting, tutors must upload clear scanned copies of:
- Aadhaar Card or Government Photo ID (Front & Back)
- Highest Degree Certificate or Marksheet
4. Tutor Application Rejection Protocol
If an applicant fails to meet Hidayara's quality benchmarks during video review or document verification:
- The tutor will receive constructive feedback detailing why the profile was not approved.
- The ₹10 application fee covers the administrative evaluation and remains non-refundable.
- Rejected applicants may re-submit a revised demo video after a 30-day waiting period.
5. Strict Prohibition of Off-Platform Direct Bypass
Zero Tolerance Bypass Policy:
Tutors assigned through Hidayara are strictly prohibited from soliciting direct payments offline or attempting to bypass platform escrow coordination. Attempting to deal directly with parents outside Hidayara results in immediate profile termination, blacklisting, and forfeiture of pending payouts.
6. Class Reporting & Weekly Payouts
Tutors must log conducted tuition sessions on their Tutor Dashboard. Once confirmed by the parent/student, funds held in Hidayara Escrow are transferred directly to the tutor’s verified bank account on a weekly cycle.
