Tutors pay a one-time ₹10 Registration & Evaluation Fee during registration to cover application screening, demo video hosting servers, and identity verification.

For Parents & Students₹0 FREE

Submitting tuition requirements, getting personalized tutor matches, and attending the 1-on-1 demo trial class is 100% FREE for parents and students. No registration fees are ever charged to parents.

1. ₹10 Registration Fee (Applicable ONLY to Tutors)

Hidayara charges a nominal ₹10 registration fee exclusively to tutor applicants during Step 6 of tutor onboarding. This fee is strictly for tutors who wish to offer their educational services on the Hidayara platform.

2. Zero Registration Fees for Parents & Students

Parents and students do NOT pay any registration fee, matching fee, or upfront sign-up charge to use Hidayara.

  • Tutor Assignment & Concierge Matching: 100% Free
  • 1-on-1 Demo Trial Class: 100% Free
  • Parents only pay regular tuition fees agreed upon after selecting a tutor, protected under Escrow.

3. What the ₹10 Tutor Fee Covers

The ₹10 fee collected from tutor applicants covers:

  • Video Evaluation Storage: Hosting and streaming servers for the tutor’s 5–10 minute demo lecture video.
  • Background Document Screening: Administrative review of government photo IDs (Aadhaar / Voter ID) and degree marksheets.
  • Placement Queue Entry: Onboarding into Hidayara’s priority verified educator database.
Note: Because administrative evaluation and video streaming hosting begin immediately upon submission, the ₹10 fee for tutors is non-refundable.

4. Escrow Protection for Monthly/Hourly Tuition Fees

Once a parent confirms a tutor after the free trial class, monthly or hourly tuition session fees are held securely under Hidayara Escrow Protection. Funds are only disbursed to tutors after classes are conducted and confirmed on the student dashboard.

5. Payment Gateway Security

All online payments are encrypted via SSL 256-bit protocol and processed through PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateways (UPI, Razorpay, Netbanking, Credit/Debit Cards). Hidayara never stores your card CVV or banking PINs.
