Fair Play Policy | Transparent Terms
Submitting requirements & demo matching is 100% FREE. Any deposited tuition escrow balance is 100% refundable upon cancellation.
Non-refundable administrative fee paid ONLY by tutor applicants to cover demo video hosting and background document evaluation.
1. ₹10 Tutor Application Fee Policy
Tutor applicants pay a nominal ₹10 registration fee during Step 6 of onboarding. This fee covers administrative evaluation of degrees/KYC documents, video streaming infrastructure for demo lecture review, and priority placement queue entry. Because these screening services begin immediately upon submission, the ₹10 fee for tutors is non-refundable.
2. Tutor Application Rejection & Re-application
If a tutor applicant is not selected during demo video review or document verification:
- The ₹10 registration fee covers the administrative evaluation and remains non-refundable.
- The applicant receives feedback and is eligible to re-apply with updated demo video credentials after 30 days.
3. Parent & Student Zero-Fee Policy
Hidayara does NOT charge any registration or matching fee to parents or students. Submitting a tuition requirement, receiving tutor matches, and attending the 1-on-1 demo trial class is completely free.
4. Tuition Escrow Balance Refunds for Parents
Once a parent selects a tutor after the free demo class, tuition fees deposited into Hidayara Escrow Protection are disbursed only after classes take place. If a parent discontinues tuition, any un-conducted session balance in Escrow is refunded 100% to the parent without penalty.
5. Refund Processing Timelines
Approved escrow refunds to parents are processed through our payment gateway partners (Razorpay / UPI) and credited back to the original source account within 5 to 7 working days.
