Hidayara Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Hidayara", "We", "Us", or "Our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data of students, parents, and educators ("Users"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, process, and safeguard information collected through our website (hidayara.com) and mobile applications.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information depending on your user role on the Hidayara platform:

• Students & Parents: Full name, guardian contact details, email address, phone number, residential locality, city, student grade, educational board, subject requirements, and budget preferences.
• Tutors & Educator Applicants: Full name, contact details, profile photograph, educational qualifications, degrees, teaching experience, hourly/monthly rates, preferred teaching modes, government identity proofs (Aadhaar / Govt ID), and demo lecture video uploads.
• Transaction & Payment Data: Transaction references, fee payment receipts (₹10 registration/service fees and escrow billing logs). Card details and UPI handles are processed via PCI-DSS certified payment gateways (Razorpay/UPI) and are never stored on Hidayara servers.

3. Tutor Demo Videos & Document Privacy

To maintain high educational standards, tutors submit demo lecture videos (5–10 minutes) and KYC documents during registration:

• Demo Video Evaluation: Demo videos are accessed exclusively by Hidayara’s internal academic evaluation team to assess subject mastery, clarity, and teaching methodology.
• Document Security: Aadhaar and Degree certificates submitted by tutors are encrypted and accessible only by authorized verification staff. They are never published publicly.

4. Managed Privacy Model (No Public Data Selling)

Hidayara operates a curated assignment workflow rather than an open public forum. Phone numbers, precise residential coordinates, and personal emails are never listed on search engines or sold to third-party telemarketers.

5. Data Security & Encryption

We implement SSL 256-bit encryption for all data in transit, encrypted storage for identity documents, role-based access control (RBAC) for database administrative access, and regular security audits.

6. Your Rights & Data Retention

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, you have the right to request access to your personal data, request correction of inaccurate records, or request account deletion by emailing privacy@hidayara.com.
